Ringin Terms of Use

Effective 5 August 2026 • Operator: Wayno, Queensland

Ringin is a free introduction platform for adults aged 18 and over. It does not employ users, supply labour, guarantee work, process wages or supervise jobs. Every worker and hirer contracts directly with the other.

User responsibilities

Provide accurate information; use Ringin lawfully and respectfully; verify identities, licences, White Cards, qualifications, insurance and references; agree pay, superannuation, tax, safety and work conditions before work starts; and comply with workplace, employment, contractor and consumer laws. Do not post unlawful, unsafe, misleading, discriminatory, harassing or spam content.

Safety and decisions

Ringin does not verify every claim or guarantee a user's identity, suitability, availability, workmanship, payment or conduct. Users must perform their own checks and stop contact or report concerns when something appears unsafe.

Profiles and contact

By activating a profile, a user authorises Ringin to show the profile and phone number to signed-in users for genuine work matching. Contact details connected to an application or request may be shown to the other party. Users must not scrape, sell, publish or misuse another person's information.

Moderation, availability and liability

Wayno may investigate reports and restrict, block or remove content or listings to protect users or operate the service. Ringin may change or be unavailable and is provided without a guarantee of continuous operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.

Ending use

Users can select My Profile → Delete My Listing to remove their public work/business listing and contact requests. Other records may be retained where reasonably required for security, dispute handling or legal obligations. Account or privacy requests can be made through Ringin's reporting channel for review by Wayno.

Creating an account or continuing to use Ringin means accepting these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Ringin Privacy Policy

Effective 5 August 2026 • Privacy contact: Wayno, Queensland

Information collected

Ringin collects account identifiers, email address through Supabase authentication, name, Australian phone number, general location, worker or employer type, trades, availability, rates, profile details, job posts, applications, contact requests, reports and service timestamps.

Why it is used

Information is used to operate accounts, match trades and jobs, display active profiles to signed-in employers, connect users, provide owner moderation, investigate reports, secure Ringin and maintain the service.

Sharing and storage

Active worker profiles and phone numbers may be visible to signed-in employers. Contact details may be visible to the matching party after an application or contact workflow. Information is stored using Supabase and the website is delivered through Cloudflare. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect users and the service. Ringin does not sell personal information.

Your choices

Workers can disable profile visibility. Users can update their details, delete their listing and contact requests, or report a privacy concern for owner review. Removing a listing does not necessarily remove authentication, security, report or legally required records immediately.

Security and retention

Ringin uses authentication, row-level database permissions, limited account grants and owner-only moderation. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Records are kept only while reasonably needed to operate, secure and defend the service or comply with law.

Complaints and access

Use Report Concern inside Ringin and identify the issue as a privacy request. Wayno will review reasonable access, correction and deletion requests and privacy complaints. If a complaint cannot be resolved, users may seek guidance from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

This policy may be updated when Ringin's features or legal obligations change. Material changes will be shown in the service.
